This was our first visit to Mojacar and we were so pleasantly surprised we will be back soon...the apartment was a real home from home.....except we don't have a POOL!!!!!! SL.

Holiday Mojacar 2010

Delightful accomodation,very spacious with the much needed and used air con.
Well maintained and very tidy on arrival. Fully equiped kitchen with fridge/freezer tumble dryer oven etc.
lovely sun room where you can eat your breakfast or tea.
Two main bedrooms a good size with plenty of wardrobe space and useful inbuilt safe for valuables.
Swimming pool a 2minute walk which was always clean and tidy.
Kimrick hotel directly opposite the accomodation provides lunchtime snacks plus formal evening meals at a reasonable cost.
Just be aware there is a small incline from the main playa to reach the accomodation but it is not too onerous.
Car not really required as the local bus service is perfectly adequate. Plenty of shops and bars within walking distance .

A True Find

We would very much like to recommend this well appointed, spacious and beautifully decorated apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing, peaceful and stress free holiday in this popular area of Almeria.
The beach is an easy stroll down the road and takes approximately five minutes to get to a long stretch of sandy beaches, clear seas and a range of beach bars and restaurants.
Although we weren't in Mojacar during peak season nearly all the bars and restaurants were open so we had an excellent choice of different types of food. The standard of food and hygiene in all the places we visited was second to none.
The pool area is perfect for family fun as well as for simply reading and relaxing around this well maintained area. There is quite a large space so even if you are joined by other people, it never gets over crowded.
We particularly liked spending time by the pool so that we could nip in doors (which is only seconds away) and have some lunch or reapply suntan lotion or get a cold drink. It was like having our own pool.
A car is not essential because everything is within walking distance and if we wanted to go up to Mojacar Pueblo (which is certainly worth a visit) we just took the bus which ran very frequently.
The pueblo has spectacular views and is like stepping back in time. We also found the people there to be very friendly.
As we are both avid readers we ran out of reading material half way through the holiday and were delighted to find a lovely book shop and stationers that sold a good selection of books written in English. We expected them to be expensive but in fact they were cheaper than at the airport.
In summary, this apartment was a true find. It was modern, clean and well equipped. It was well located in a quiet residential area and the agent, who was also from Cork, couldn't have been any more helpful.

WAY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!

This spacious, very clean apartment was like a well designed house. It was beautifully decordated and had absolutely everything you'd find in your own home. It is situated in a lovely, smart, residential area yet it only took us five minutes to walk to the beach.
On the days we didn't fancy spending the day on the beach we sat by the shared pool which was never busy. Even when the other guests or owners did arrive to use it we found them very friendly and polite.
There was an excellent restaurant just across the road where we had the best steaks and sticky toffee pudding ever. and the other restaurants along the playa served a variety of foods from Chinese, Indian, Italian, Spanish, etc.
We're not golfers but with the amount of gorgeous golf courses in the area we are seriously thinking about taking it up for next year when we come back.
Although we wanted a relaxing break for just the two of us I also recommended this apartment to my sister and her three children because of the access to the beach, children's activities as well as snorkling for her husband.
We feel completely refreshed after our break - it was one of the best holidays we've had in ages.

Garden apartment Pueblo del Cantel Mojacar

I have recently returned from above property in Mojacar. The directions provided by the owner were very good with no problems parking at apartment. The property was as described it was very clean and tidy.
It has three bedrooms one of the rooms would only be suitable for young children. The courtyard is great for eating in with lovely flowers and a lemon tree. Kitchen had everything we needed.
We had some ploblems with the television due to bad storm but the owners rep. Martha came very promptly to sort this matter out. The pool is lovely the owner provides sun chairs to use at the pool.
The beach is great about 10 minutes walk. Driving is easy in Mojacar but the buses will take you everywhere at only 1 euro. Lots of different restaurants along the playa prices very good. Take the bus up to the Pueblo worth a visit. We had a lovely stay in Pueblo del Cantel and would recommend it for a nice peaceful holiday.

We loved the apartment! There were 3 large bedrooms - comfortably sleeps 6 and very suitable for children. Air conditioning which can be adjusted to each room and made living in the high heat of summer very comfortable indeed.
The kitchen and living room were well furnished and comfortable and well kept and cleaned - the linen was changed efficiently mid stay and the beach towels were also provided (lovely large ones too!) which was an added bonus for packing...
The pool was absolutely fabulous - large and cool and very well maintained - it was a shared pool but there was rarely anyone else there so it felt like our own private pool as it was just a walk accross the grass from the apartment for us! Kids loved it..
5 minute walk down to the beach - 10 back! handy for all local amenities but away from the noise and bustle of the main drag. The beaches were beautiful and endless and the restaurants, bars and cafes were endless and all seemed good and pretty friendly.
Mojacar Playa is a great location for families and couples alike and has everything you could want for on a holiday (the water park was only a 10 min drive/bus away and was good fun too).
I would definitely recommend this apartment to others, although if you or your children like to meet others when away, it wasn't in the best location for socialising as it was mainly residential not holiday lets, but this was not an issue for us particularly and there is always the Kimerick accross the street which seemed very social... we had a great holiday and would go back with pleasure.

Fantastic Villa

My husband and I and our 2 year old son stayed in this villa in March 2008. My husband needed to be near to a motorcycle race track as he races bikes and I needed to be near to a beach/beaches, playgrounds and cafes as I was looking after our 2 yr old without a car while my husband was away racing.
The apartment was very well equiped with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and English television and a DVD player and very comfortable with everything you need. It was very quiet and we were not bothered by noise from any other apartments.
My 2 year old loved the caveroom. The patio was lovely on warm evenings to have a BBQ or just eat outside. The location is fabulous and only 5 minutes from golden sandy beaches and lovely restaurants. You can easily manage without a car as there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away and beaches and playgrounds on the beachfront.
We found some lovely restaurants on the seafront and my son enjoyed the fantastic "playgrounds" that are affluent along the promenade. If you do have a car it only takes about half an hour to drive into the mountains or along a coastal road to secluded beaches and little villages.
We loved it so much (so much so that my second son was conceived in this apartment!), and will definately be returning again this summer. Very child friendly.

A great family break

My husband and I and our two boys aged 7 and 5 really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was spacious and well maintained. The pool was very relaxing as very few people used it - one down side you are not allowed to use sun loungers or chairs!
The apartment is close to all of the restaurants and shops and to the lovely beaches of Mojacar. A resource book with recommendations for places to eat and to see was provided in the apartment and we found this great.
A short trip by car will bring you up to the mountains. I would definitely recommend it!

Brilliant Accommodation

This is a fantastic property, fully equipped and with every comfort. It's like a villa with a garden, patio and everything for the beach and pool, which you mostly have exclusive use of.
All shops, bars and beach are a short stroll away. The bar opposite is great but not noisy at night, so just right. We took a family group and had a lovely time, thanks to having everything we needed .

We were a family of four adults and two young children. The apartment was very spacious and clean.
It is conveniently situated in a quiet area but close to all amenities. The pool was great and most of the time we had it to ourselves.
The description was accurate and the owner provided good customer service from the booking through to our departure. We would certainly recommend this apartment to friends.

wow. we had a wonderful holiday in your beautiful apartment or should i say villa, it was so spacious and spotless clean.We all loved the swimming pool and we had it all to ourselves. It was like a home away from home.
The apartment is close to everything and in a lovely quiet area.We dined out every evening as there is a lot of really nice restaurants and bars close by.Brian was very helpful to us.
Mojacar is such a lovely place and you are so lucky to own such a beautiful apartment.We hope to go again later in the year. Thanks M D
