Each well appointed apartment is very comfortably furnished with SKY TV and free WIFI and a small private garden . Pets welcome. Check in is after 3pm and we ask that apartments be vacated by 11am to facilitate thorough cleaning before the next guest. However, on request, we will do our best to facilitate late departures and early arrivals whenever possible.
We would like to remind guets that as we are not in a position to offer refunds. We respectfully suggest you please ensure you have Holiday Insurance which will cover you in case you need to cancel.

Details for Garden Apartment 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4: Spacious two bedroom apartment with its own entrance through private garden. You really can enjoy the best of both worlds. Walks on the beach, stroll to the 'village' shops, friendly Irish pubs, charming shops, restaurants etc. or you enjoy the cultural events in the city, famous nightlife or fabulous shopping... Golfers will be spoilt for choice with so many Championship courses nearby. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one with a super king-size bed (this can be split to twin beds if required), second bedroom has twin beds There is a fully equipped kitchen, Comfortable furnished living room with SKY TV, DVD and free WIFI ,doors leading to a sunny west facing patio/garden area with barbeque. We provide garden furniture etc. Quality linens, towels and all utensils are all provided for your use. We hope we have supplied everything you need to enjoy your stay but please do ask should you have special requests.

Details about the area: Sandymount is located between 4 and 5 km south east of Dublin City, with a promenade along which the coast road runs from Sandymount Strand down to Merrion Gates. It lies a little south of the Great South Wall in Dublin Bay. Neighbouring suburbs are Ballsbridge, Merrion and Donnybrook.
The area is served by the (DART) commuter rail system and two stops are located in the area, Sandymount and Sydney Parade. It is served by Dublin Bus routes 2, 3 and 18. The Aircoach private coach service, running from Greystones to Dublin Airport, has two stops in Sandymount
Sandymount is an affluent suburb with many large houses, mostly dating from the 19th and early 20th centuries.

We had a wonderful time, it was so fantastic to just cross the road to the beach, the kids loved it ! BM London
My parents had a lovely time in your great apartment, it was so easy to get into town and they loved the restaurants nearby. They want to go back next year too. TP.
All the family had a great time, we got to see the best of Dublin and loved walking on the beach and hav a barbeque in 'Our' garden one really hot evening.The apartment was spotless and was very well equipped. We will be recommending you to our friends. KS.
We were delighted as soon as we arrived, the location is second to none and the apartment was large and nicely furnished...it was exactly as described. you can see care has been taken by the owners to ensure guests enjoy their stay.

I lived in The Mews for six months and it has been sublime! The apartment is wonderful with a roomy livingroom, master bedroom and bath. There is an enormous closet in the master bedroom which is a real treat. The apartment was sparkling clean upon letting and so cosy, it was a pleasure to spend time. The kitchen was well equipped and had every conceivable culinary device, so for those who like to cook it is a wonderful space.
Sandymount is a terrific spot. there are terrific restaurants, pubs, shops and it has the feel of a village. The fact that the sea is right across the street is amazing. You can hear the gulls and smell the sea air--so it is peaceful as well and a good place to take a terrific walk. Access to An Lar (city center) is excellent with a bus across Lea Rd , [actually 2 buses (#3 & #2)] which takes you into town via Pearse Street. the ride is lovely. If you are into trains you can take the DART. There is a BIG Tesco just a few bus stops away and a smaller one in Sandymount. So you can have all your food needs met. In Sandymount there is a marvelous butcher, bakery, a smaller Tesco for quick items and shops galore.
A now a word about Iverna. You could not find a nicer, more professional owner. I commented that the Mews lacked a dryer. Well there is now a dryer! As a New Yorker, I was shocked that she accomodated me and had the dryer in the apartment upon arrival. Iverna is wonderful, the apartment is lovely, the area amazing --and the price--fair.
I intend to return and would recommend and will recommend Seaside to all of my friends. It is a gem.

Great location for Christmas in Dublin

The Garden Apartment pretty well matched our needs and in particular we found the it clean, comfortable and warm especially in such cold weather!!. The bathroom was well equipped. The location is great... We enjoyed Mince Pies in the Sandymount Village Coffee Shop early on St. Stephens morning!!

We spent Christmas in Dublin and the apartment was perfect for our family of 5. We loved being opposite the beach, even though we were knee deep in snow! The village of Sandymount is beautiful and the restaurants really good.
Definitely hope to return.
