Perfect location, perfect accommodations for two teenagers and two parents, wonderful and quick response from owner, plus FABULOUS jogging area just across the street - absolutely gorgeous runs every morning! Loved it. Wouldn’t change a thing!

This is a terrific apartment in a lovely seaside neighborhood. It is comfy and welcoming and very convenient to city center. Bus lines, the train and taxis are all readily available, and it's a nice walk to the city center as well. Sandymount village is quaint and had a number of lovely eating and drinking establishments. The kitchen is well equipped , and the bathroom is well appointed as well. The wall heater was quite welcome on a few chilly days. The washer was great to have, and the laundry yard/garden was lovely too. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Located just outside of the city, this location made it easy for us to both easily enjoy the city as well as navigate throughout the rest of the country. We utilized the bus to avoid downtown traffic and parking - it was convenient, easy to navigate and relatively inexpensive. And we also spent a lot of time outside of the area, so we appreciated the quick in and out.

Recently I was approached by our CEO and informed I had to travel to Dublin for a six week project. Due to the time-frame my husband and three year old twin daughters came too.

I was dreading the upheaval of uprooting everyone and coming to a place where I didn't know a soul (this was my first ever trip to the Dublin office) but I couldn't have had a BETTER EXPERIENCE.

Iverna Hynes, the Owner, couldn't have been kinder or more helpful from the beautiful fresh flowers and welcome pack on arrival to the invaluable advice on activities to keep our family entertained. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and toasty warm. The bed linen and towels were of a very high quality, the Sky TV was a must for our pair as was the dishwasher for my husband. The kitchen was a good size for any family and there were plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware as well as a great selection of pots, pans and utensils.

Although I rented a car which I parked right outside our well lit entrance every night, I needed it for work; therefore my husband was reliant on public transport. The numbers 1 and 47 buses stopped two houses away and brought him and the girls straight into the city center within 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. They took the DART from Sandymount Avenue (a 15/20 minute walk depending on what they saw along the way!) when they wanted to visit the coastal towns and villages including Bray, Greystones, Dun Laoghaire, Malahide and Howth. They also stopped at Booterstown Dart Station where there is a lovely children's play area and Sandycove which has an amazing ice cream store called "Teddy's".

The pubs and restaurants in Sandymount Village are very welcoming and child friendly. Within a couple of weeks we felt like locals. There is a lovely green area in the center of the village and a sandy beach right in front of the apartment where our girls were able to play safely. They met lots of other children and dog walkers so they had a really lovely, sociable time. There is also a small enclosed garden with this apartment where the twins could just run around and play (and tire themselves out before bedtime!).

I can't believe we found such a GEM on our first visit to Dublin. I will certainly be volunteering for all the Dublin assignments I can get from now on. This apartment ticks all the boxes for comfort, cleanliness, convenience - a home away from home. We will definitely be back.

The Seaview apartment was a place of peace and quiet, just outside the city of Dublin. The apartment was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the garden patio, especially aftr a long day of touring. The apartment is a short bus ride to downtown Dublin and the bus stop is just steps away from the rental. There were several evenings when we walked back to the apartment from Dublin.

The local village, Sandymount, is wonderful and has a full market, great restaurants, butcher shop, pub and many other amenities. A great place to hang out with locals!

Just across the steet from the apartment is the Strand walkway with a lovely beach to take a stroll.

We hiked way out to the distant Lighthouse, which on a nice day is a worthwile hike, with views looking back at the mainland.

Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

We come to Seaview once a year at least, this was our first stay in the two-bedroom garden apartment. We didn`t expect anything less than the exceptional high standard Iverna keeps at Seaview concerning comfort, equipment and cleanliness and always this little bit more that makes us feel very welcome the moment we open the door. The garden apartment ticked all the boxes and offers a lot of space. There is a large kitchen very suitable for full self catering with all technical appliances. The apartment has its own entrance from the road and therefore it also is very private. There is a very charming garden in front with a bench, with garden furniture, for those warmer afternoons and evenings and even a barbecue. So being just the two of us we actually had more space and more equipment than we really needed but we will most certainly not complain about that! Walking the beaches, feeling welcome in Sandymount village and making the short bus trips into Dublin City for culture and shopping - we had another great holiday at Seaview and can`t wait to come back!
